MIDNIGHT SIREN is a story of a girl wandering through the empty streets when in the dark of night. we don’t know what she’s searching for; she could be waiting for her boyfriend to pick her up, she could be working the streets or she could even be at the wrong place at the wrong time. we’ll never know. what we do know is that she looks damn good doing whatever it is she’s doing.
the vision behind Midnight Siren started off small. i know i’ve always wanted to try my hand at directing and creating an editorial from the beginning steps but the chance never came. i’ve had plenty of practice assisting on photoshoots, assisting on styling and assisting on the vision but it was never the lead role.with Midnight Siren i finally had the chance to take control of what i wanted to be produce and had a great team behind me to execute that vision to it’s fullest potential. the final product of what we are showing today is beyond anything that i thought could’ve imagined, as it was our first time doing anything of this caliber.
our night started on the HOTTEST DAY of the entire year back in september and when night came it surprisingly didn’t get any cooler. i kid you not there was not a single breeze that night! after 6 hours, 3 hair looks, 3 makeup looks, 6 outfits that we cut down to 5, endless amount of shoes that were tried, accessories galore and a box of pizza; we created something that i am so proud to present.
